Hazel Margaret Baron (known as Peggy) was born on January 10th 1944 in a snowstorm and died from
alcoholism on January 30th 2003 in a snowstorm.She was just fifty nine years of age and worked as a
cook in an old people's home until the last nine months of her life when she was in and out of
hospital with liver failure.She lived in Bedford and was always glamorous.
She leaves behind a loving family including her broken hearted daughter Christine,her sons David and
Richard and seven grandchildren (including three who she had not yet met) . She lost her first
husband and father of her children Tony to cancer in August 1981.
Mum you meant and still do mean the world to me and your family and not a day goes by without us
remembering you. You would of loved David's gorgeous twin boys Jack and Charlie and
Richard's new baby boy Xabi.It gives me some comfort to know that you are with Dad but i wish
you could of been here longer to share my gorgeous girls Charlotte and Lucy growing up into
beautiful young ladies and eventually watching them get married and have babies of their
own.It's like a knife in my heart when i see mothers and daughters of my age together out and
about like we should of still been doing.
I was proud to have had you as my mum and honoured to of nursed you in and out of hospital making
your last days as painfree as possible.

I've listened to the footprints poem
a million times or more
of how when only one set shows
upon the sandy shore
it's the lord carrying us
and taking on our load
and his are the only set
of footprints that showed
But what if when we look
there are no footprints to be found?
all we see is plain and simple
sand upon the ground
no imprints showing that our lord
is carrying us through life
helping us when we feel
we can not handle all this strife
Where is my lord now that i've fallen
and can't seem to get back up?
so tired and lonely
trying to deal with what seems
an overflowing cup
where are those footprints
in the sand
to tell me he's right there?
helping me with problems
and showing that he really does care
Does he have favourites, OH NO
please tell me that's not so
but why does life seem easier
for some people that I know?
and sometimes I just scream out loud
although it seems in vain
but often gets harder each day
to deal with all this pain
And then it dawned on me
as I realize how simple could it be
I wonder why I was so blind
that I truly did not see
it must have been a lightening bolt
that one day gave me light
because out of the clear blue sky
I finally regained my sight
I saw a fluffy white cloud
shaped like an angel dear
that helped me to understand
and see things oh so clear
that's when I saw no footprints
and so often wondered why
my lord carried me on angel wings
when he decided to fly.

There is a place in every heart,
They call it Memory Lane,
Where thoughts of loved ones lost
Forever will remain.
God made this special place
When He first created man,
For He knew it would be needed,
As part of our life's plan.
He knew when loved ones left us,
We'd need some time to heal,
To come to terms with sorrow
And the loneliness we'd feel.
So when you lose a loved one
And your life is filled with pain,
The comfort of their presence

The world may never notice

Dear Chris, what a beautiful tribute to your Mum. I only met her a couple of times .My memories of your Mum were of a very elegant and glamorous lady. I know that you loved your Mum so much and you miss her terribly. Your Mum and Dad are now together and will be looking down on you. They will be very proud of how your family has turned out.
